زمینه: افسردگی پس از زایمان یکی از مشکلات رو به رشد سلامت روان زنان است که پیامدهای گسترده‌ای برای مادر و خانواده دارد. مطالعات پیشین عمدتاً به متغیرهای محدود پرداخته‌اند و از روش‌های تحلیلی سنتی استفاده کرده‌اند. این در حالی است که پیش‌بینی چندبعدی با بهره‌گیری از الگوریتم‌های یادگیری ماشین هنوز کمتر مورد توجه قرار گرفته است.
هدف: این پژوهش باهدف پیش‌بینی افسردگی پس از زایمان مبتنی بر متغیرهای چندگانه روان‌شناختی، جمعیت شناختی، سبک زندگی و عوامل مامایی و زنان و زایمان با استفاده از الگوریتم یادگیری ماشین بوده است.
روش: پژوهش حاضر از نوع پژوهش‌های همبستگی مبتنی بر الگوریتم یادگیری ماشین بود. جامعه آماری پژوهش را زنان بارداری تشکیل دادند که در فاصله‌ی هفته 34 بارداری به بالا بودند. تعداد 198 شرکت کننده بر مبنای روش نمونه­گیری در دسترس انتخاب شدند و به پرسش‌نامه افسردگی پس از زایمان (ادینبورگ، 2003)، پرسش‌نامه اضطراب بارداری (وندنبرگ، 1989)، پرسش‌نامه کیفیت خواب (پترزبورگ، 1989) و پرسش‌نامه محقق ساخته در ماه آخر بارداری و 150 نفر از همان گروه، به پرسش‌نامه حمایت اجتماعی (شربون و استوارت، 1991)، افسردگی پس از زایمان (ادینبورگ، 2003) و پرسش‌نامه محقق ساخته‌ی دیگری بعد از زایمان پاسخ دادند. ویژگی‌های توصیفی داده‌های به دست آمده با استفاده از نرم‌افزار SPSS نسخه 27 انجام شد و برای تعیین امکان پیش‌بینی افسردگی پس از زایمان بر اساس متغیرهای چندگانه، از تحلیل یادگیری ماشین استفاده گردید.
یافته‌ها: نتایج نشان داد که ضریب AUC برای عملکرد مدل ارائه‌شده برای پیش‌بینی افسردگی پس از زایمان 72/0 به دست داده است که نشان‌دهنده‌ی عملکرد خوب مدل پژوهش می‌باشد و می‌توان گفت پیش‌بینی افسردگی پس از زایمان بر اساس متغیرهای چندگانه با استفاده از الگوریتم یادگیری ماشین امکان‌پذیر است. متغیرهای حمایت اجتماعی، اضطراب بارداری، تعداد بارداری، تعداد فرزندان و نخست زا بودن، بیشترین سهم را در پیش‌بینی افسردگی پس از زایمان بر اساس ارزیابی نهایی داشتند.
نتیجه‌گیری: با توجه به شیوع بالای افسردگی پس از زایمان و پیامدهای گسترده آن، نتایج این پژوهش می‌تواند در طراحی ابزارهای غربالگری مبتنی بر یادگیری ماشین برای شناسایی زودهنگام زنان در معرض خطر به کار رود. همچنین، یافته‌ها می‌توانند راهنمایی برای برنامه‌ریزی مداخلات آموزشی و حمایتی جهت ارتقای آگاهی خانواده‌ها و سیاست‌گذاران سلامت باشند.
