Background: Research has shown the effectiveness of the emotion-focused approach on self-efficacy of  Female Head of Household . Research shows that some of the maladaptive schemas of  Female Head Household caregivers are active, so it should be clear what the difference is between the influence of the treatment schema and the emotion-focused approach. Aims: The aim of this study was to determine and compare the effectiveness of emotion-focused and schema therapy approach on the  self-Efficacy of Parenting in  Mothers of the household head. Method: This research was a semi-experimental design with pre-test-post-test design with two experimental groups and one control group. 45 women were selected from the statistical population of the family headed women in charity organizations in Tehran and randomly assigned to three groups of 15. First, parents' self-efficacy questionnaire was performed by  Dumka et al. (1996), then  Then, emotion focused sessions Johnson and Greenberg (2005)for experimental group 1 and scheme  therapy  Yang (2003) for experimental group 2 were administered. , but no intervention was performed for the control group after 2 months of follow-up  To test the effect of schema therapy and excitement, the research questionnaire was distributed with the aim of follow-up test and the required data were collected. Results: The results of repeated measurements showed that Both emotional treatments and schema therapy were effective in increasing the self-efficacy of parental women in the head of household (p≤0/001). The results of the paired comparison indicated that the therapist's schematics had more influence on the self-efficacy of the female parenting than the emotional-focused therapy. Conclusion: Both Emothon-focosed and schema therapy are effective in increasing self-Efficacy of Parenting, but schema therapy is more effective.
