Background: In the context of marital relationships, the emergence of conflicts and disagreements can lead to emotional distance and ultimately divorce. Among these, interventions that help strengthen forgiveness and increase compatibility become particularly important.
Aims: This study was conducted with the aim of compiling and validating the 'quiet ego' educational package to enhance interpersonal forgiveness and marital compatibility among couples on the verge of divorce. This educational package, focusing on concepts such as mindfulness, inclusive identity, compassion, forgiveness, personal growth, and religious principles, seeks to assist in rebuilding marital relationships and managing conflicts by reducing self-centered behaviors and strengthening positive traits.
Methods: The research was conducted in two stages. In the first stage, data were collected from three sources: scientific articles, interviews with married women, and psychology experts, and analyzed through qualitative content analysis. This analysis led to the extraction of main themes and the development of the instructional protocol. In the second stage, the proposed educational package was validated using the Delphi method by experts.
Results: The results indicated that the 'Man Aram' educational package has acceptable content validity for couples at the brink of divorce (CVR > 0.49 and CVI > 0.79)
Conclusion: Based on the findings, the "quiet ego" educational package, with demonstrated content validity, serves as an effective tool to improve forgiveness and marital compatibility in couples on the verge of divorce. This program can be used as a valuable intervention in repairing relational conflicts.
