It has been determined that the level of parental education affects the health of people or the lack of mental health of individuals, and suggests that there is a correlation between the level of education of parents, the educational level of children and the occurrence of psychological symptoms. The main problem of the present study is a comprehensive investigation of the children mental health based on the level of parents' education. The current study aimed to compare mental health based on the level of parents' education. The research method is descriptive and causal-comparative with the statistical population comprising 2nd-grade elementary school girls studying at district 9 out of whom 250 students were selected using the one-step cluster random sampling method. These children were compared with their parents by means of (M.H.C: Kumar, 1992). Parents' education varied from less-than-secondary to doctoral levels. The data were analyzed using Kruskal-Wallis variance analysis. The results suggest that the impact of parents' education on children's mental health is significant (P=0/001). The findings indicated a strong correlation between the level of parent’s education and the mental health of children.
