Stressors are threatening physiological and psychological factors that cause physical and psychological weakness. This research is concerned with the extent of which job fatigue can be caused by prolonged exposure to stressors in the work environment. The general aim of this article is the investigation of the effects of stress on the health of the workers in their workplace. The method of research is based on literature review and findings of several researches by different writers in the field of stress. The writers’ aims are to investigate the main factors related to the display of burnout in the workplace. The results showed, in addition to stress factors, the role of lack of control and prediction of events, in creating burnout is of great importance in the workplace.
