Background: Designing the educational package of sexual education based on Iranian culture is great importance. However, no research has ever been done on the impact of sexual education based on Iranian culture on social self-efficacy and sexual risk-taking of adolescent. Aims: The purpose of this study was to investigate the effect of training of sexual education based on Iranian culture on social self-efficacy and sexual risk-taking of middle school girl students in Takestan. Method: The research is quasi experimental design with a pre-test design- post-test with a control group and the experimental group. The statistical population of this study is female student's middle school in Takestan in the academic year of 2018-19. The study sample consisted of 50 students (each group of 25) who were selected multi-stage random cluster sampling and divided into two experimental and control groups. The experimental group received 8 sessions of 90 minutes of training sexual education and the control group did not receive any training during this training period. Data collection tools were Mauritius's children and adolescent self-efficacy questionnaire (2001) and Zadeh Mohammadi and Ahmad Abadi risk-taking questionnaire for Iranian adolescents (2008(. Data were analyzed using covariance analysis. Results: The results showed that training of sexual education based on Iranian culture could be significantly effective in promoting social self-efficacy(p<0/01). also, sexual education training had a significant effect on sexual riskiness(p<0/01). Conclusions: Based on the findings, can concluded that sexual education based on Iranian-Islamic culture can increase social self-efficacy and decrease sexual risk-taking in female students.
