زمینه: اختلال اضطراب فراگیر با الگوهای نابهنجار فعالیت عصبی همراه است که می‌تواند منجر به اختلال در شاخص‌های فیزیولوژیک و عملکرد حافظه شود. همگام‌سازی امواج مغزی به‌عنوان یک مداخله غیرتهاجمی، با هدف بهبود تنظیم عصبی و کارکردهای شناختی مطرح شده است؛ با این حال، شواهد تجربی درباره تأثیر آن بر شاخص‌های فیزیولوژیک و حافظه در بیماران مبتلا به اختلال اضطراب فراگیر محدود است.
هدف: پژوهش حاضر با هدف بررسی تأثیر همگام‌سازی امواج مغزی بر شاخص‌های فیزیولوژیک و حافظه و در بیماران مبتلا به اختلال اضطراب فراگیر انجام شد.
 روش: این مطالعه نیمه‌آزمایشی با طرح پیش‌آزمون–پس‌آزمون با گروه گواه انجام شد. جامعه آماری شامل تمامی افراد مبتلا به اختلال اضطراب فراگیر مراجعه‌کننده به مراکز مشاوره و کلینیک‌های روان‌پزشکی شهر تبریز در سال 1404 بود که 60  بیمار مبتلا به اختلال اضطراب فراگیر به صورت تصادفی در دو گروه آزمایش (30 نفر) و گواه (30 نفر) قرار گرفتند. در این پژوهش از پرسشنامه اضطراب فراگیر (اسپیتزر و همکاران، 2006) استفاده شد. گروه آزمایش به مدت چهار هفته، هر هفته پنج روز و هر روز 30 دقیقه تحت مداخله همگام‌سازی امواج مغزی با ضربان‌های دوگوشی آلفا (10 هرتز) قرار گرفتند. گروه گواه مداخله‌ای دریافت نکرد. ارزیابی‌ها با استفاده از دستگاه بیورزونانس Qtech (برای سنجش شاخص‌های فیزیولوژیک و شاخص حافظه) و آزمون بلوک‌های کرسی (برای حافظه کاری) در دو مرحله پیش‌آزمون و پس‌آزمون انجام شد. داده‌های گردآوری‌شده با استفاده از نرم‌افزار آماری SPSS26 و با استفاده از آزمون کوواریانس چندمتغیره مورد تحلیل قرار گرفت.
یافته ­ها: نتایج تحلیل کوواریانس چندمتغیره نشان داد که همگام‌سازی امواج مغزی موجب افزایش معنادار شاخص غده آدرنال و شاخص حافظه در گروه آزمایش نسبت به گروه کنترل شد(05/0 > P )، اما تأثیر معناداری بر مقاومت عروقی مغز مشاهده نشد(05/0 < P ). همچنین نتایج تحلیل کوواریانس یک راهه نشان‌دهنده تفاوت معنادار بین دو گروه در متغیر حافظه کاری بود، به‌گونه‌ای که حدود ۱۰ درصد از تغییرات حافظه کاری توسط مداخله قابل تبیین است(05/0 > P ).
نتیجه‌گیری: یافته‌های پژوهش حاضر نشان می‌دهد که همگام‌سازی امواج مغزی می‌تواند به‌عنوان یک مداخله غیرتهاجمی و مکمل، در بهبود عملکرد غده آدرنال و ارتقای کارکردهای حافظه، به‌ویژه حافظه کاری، در بیماران مبتلا به اختلال اضطراب فراگیر مورد استفاده قرار گیرد. این نتایج بر قابلیت کاربرد بالینی همگام‌سازی امواج مغزی در برنامه‌های مداخله‌ای مبتنی بر تنظیم عصبی و توان‌بخشی شناختی بیماران مبتلا به اختلالات اضطرابی تأکید دارد.
