Elderly is one of the periods of human life that today many people can experience this period due to the advancement of technology and health services, Therefore, attention to the well-being and quality of life of these people is one of the undeniable truths of today's societies. The present research problem is whether, is there a relationship between spiritual well-being and hope with quality of life and happiness in elderly people? Therefore, the purpose of this study was to investigate the relationship between spiritual well-being and hope with quality of life and happiness in the elderly in Tehran. The research method was correlation which is categorized as descriptive research methods. The sample included 263 elderly people (113 males and 130 females) that selected by convenience sampling. in this research  spiritual well-being (Paloutzian and Ellison 1982), Hope (Snyder and et al, 1991), quality of life (World health organization, 2001) and Oxford Happiness (Argyle and Lu, 1989) questionnaires administered among selected samples. Data were analyzed using Pearson correlation and regression. The results showed there was a significant and positive relationship between Spiritual well-being and hope with quality of life and happiness (P<0.01). Regression analysis showed that spiritual well-being and hope can predict the quality of life and happiness in the elderly (P<0.01). This means those people who had better spiritual well-being and hope experienced better happiness and quality of life.
